Last night was a super great evening hanging out with some old and new friends at Aura for April Poker night put on by the Association of Bridal Consultants. I received a couple of invitations to attend from Travis at Shields Films and Erin at the Governor Hotel ala Jake's Catering. The night was held together by fine cocktails, casino style gambling and one of the best crab cakes I have ever tasted (way to go Aura). I was hitting the craps table hard along with Christina Safford from Muse Event Planning, Danyelle Tinker from Skamania Lodge, Travis Shields, Jimmy Patten from the Oregon Zoo (who will be hosting an event himself soon) and Donna Hoff from The Wedding Genies. I was also honored to meet Heather Halstead from Sorella Events at the door as I was leaving and happened to also bump into Alesia Zorn, who makes your invitations or place cards, etc. look super presidential with her fantastic calligraphy skills. ABC makes you feel at home, I can't wait to join the great crowd of nice folks who made my Tuesday a blast. And God bless whoever made those crab cakes...
